Strive Till I Rise
Led by artist activist, Genesis Be, this traveling initiative uses hip hop and the creative arts to advance social freedoms and elevate and empower teens and young adults. Middle Project has teamed up with Strive Till I Rise to build a coalition of leaders to advance voting rights and civil discourse to promote racial healing and civil liberties in Mississippi. Headquartered in Biloxi, we will work closely with local organizations Vyzen, Mississippi Rising Coalition, and Black Women’s Roundtable,with whom we collaborated in the past, to galvanize youth for the 2020 presidential election and to replace the Mississippi State Flag. Middle Project will promote national learning from Mississippi's past struggles and support its current unique approach to systemic change.

Led by Anurag Gupta, Be More’s social justice mission is to hack unconscious bias by offering evidence-based training, workshops and technology. Middle Project offers scholarships to one or more of its breaking bias courses to individuals who aspire to get further engaged in Middle's various social justice initiatives.
