As preachers, choir directors, worship planners, and lay leaders we are all artists. Art — whether it is music, preaching, dance or writing — is transformational. We hunger for strong worship celebrations because they both ground us in Spirit and take us beyond all that we can ask or imagine. Art drops us right into Grace.

The Rev. Dr. James Forbes will be teaching us how preaching shapes justice. Dr. Gary Dorrien will return in this election year to engage us in a tour de force of American history, theology, current events, and how they are all connected. Dr. Barbara Lundblad will help us imagine worship outside the box and Macky Alston will guide us to craft our message outside the sanctuary walls.
